PUBLIC NOTICE – REQUEST FOR BID

IMPACT Strategies, Inc., as the selected Construction Manager, is requesting proposals from General Contractors for the St. Clair County Transit District – Belleville Station Phase II project in Belleville, IL. This is a tax-exempt project and will require certified payroll based on local prevailing wage rates.

The project includes interior renovations to the existing Suites A & B at 718 Scheel Street, Belleville, IL 62220.  The work will include new finishes and upgrades to the existing lobby, restrooms, and service/work areas.  Interior trade work is to include selective interior demolition, finish carpentry/casework, doors/frames/hardware, glass & glazing, metal studs & drywall, flooring, painting, bathroom accessories and design-build MEP work.  The listing of subcontractor bid packages is included within the Instructions to Bidders.

General Contractors are asked to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the St. Clair County Transit District office located at 718 Scheel Street, Belleville, IL 62220.

A goal of 25% DBE business or employee (workforce) utilization has been set for this project.

Bid documents are posted at IMPACT Strategies, The S.I.B.A Plan Room (O’Fallon, IL) and McGraw Hill Dodge Plan Room.
