No credit card? No worries. VanGo Now Accepts Cash

Starting May 3, the SCCTD VanGo on-demand public transit service began accepting cash to board. The following are the updated guidelines for accepting cash and how to use the cash feature:

  • Log into the SCCTD VanGo app and head to the Payment Methods tab in the app menu and tap the Cash toggle.
  • When booking a ride, a charge of $0 will be billed but the driver will be notified to ask for the cash payment when boarding the vehicle.
  • Only exact change is accepted. Drivers will not be able to give change.
