Metro Transit Hiring Event Coming to East St. Louis on June 8
On Saturday, June 8, Metro Transit will hold its monthly hiring event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Illinois MetroBus Facility located at 801 North 47th Street in East St. Louis.
On-site interviews will take place for Metro Mechanics, Metro Call-A-Ride Van Operators, and MetroBus Operators. Qualified candidates will receive an offer following the on-site interviews.
Metro Transit’s $5000 signing bonus is still valid for Metro Mechanics and Metro Call-A-Ride Operator positions. Applicants who attend the June 8 event and receive an offer for a Mechanic or Call-A-Ride position will be eligible for the bonus, which is distributed over the first year of employment.
