Transit is Hiring in Southwestern Illinois; Job Fairs Set for April 13 & 14

The Alternative Transportation System (ATS) in Southwestern Illinois is hiring for numerous positions. A two-day job fair is set for April 13 & 14.

Positions being advertised include:

• Assistant Director of Transportation
• ATS Human Resources
• ATS Dispatcher
• Part-Time Driver
• Full-Time Driver

ATS, through a contract with the St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD), offers call-a-ride to provide curb-to-curb community service for individuals certified as American Disabilities Act (ADA) eligible and service for those age 60 and older in some areas.  In addition, ATS is partnering with SCCTD to provide the SCCTD Flyer service in Belleville, East St. Louis, Fairmount City and Scott Air Force Base as well.

The Job Fair will be held at the Illinois Bus Garage at 801 N. 47^th Street, East St. Louis, IL 62205.  Candidates should bring a resume and cover letter to the event.   Fairs will be held at the following times:

April 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and

April 14 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
