St. Clair County Transit District Hired Fairview Heights Native J. Frederick as CPA
Former Bi-State Director of Accounting will begin July 1The St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD) has hired Jonathan W. Frederick, a Fairview Heights resident, as the new internal CPA commencing on July 1, 2019.
A graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Jonathan received his Certified Public Accounting degree in 2015. Prior to joining SCCTD, Frederick served as the Director of Accounting and Budget at Bi-State Development Agency and most recently a Plan Controller at Centene Corporation. Frederick has transit experience including auditing SCCTD and Madison County Transit accounts while working with Scheffel & Company.
“I look forward to working with Jonathan as part of the SCCTD team. Jonathan will play an integral role with our work ensuring our revenues are managed to provide the best quality transit service in Southwestern Illinois. He will assist in cost containment and grant funding controls,” said St. Clair County Transit District Managing Director Ken Sharkey.
