ST. CLAIR COUNTY METROLINK EXTENSION CONTRACTOR OUTREACH MEETING
The St. Clair County Transit District, St. Clair County, Illinois, will be holding a Contractor Outreach meeting to discuss upcoming construction projects associated with the St. Clair County MetroLink Extension from the existing Shiloh/SAFB station to MidAmerica Airport. The Contractor Outreach meeting will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 9:00 A.M.
at: Auditorium Southwest Illinois Justice & Workforce Development Campus (Former Lindenwood University – Belleville) 2300 West Main Street Belleville, IL 62226 St. Clair County Transit District will present information on the various construction packages, letting & construction schedules, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goals. In addition, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Office of Small Business Enterprises will present information on the DBE certification process and supportive services available to DBE contractors. Prime Contractors are required to be prequalified with IDOT to bid on these projects. In addition, subcontractors must be registered with IDOT. DBE subcontractors must be certified by IDOT and listed in the Illinois UCP directory.
