SCCTD to Celebrate Upgrades at Belleville Transit Center on Friday, Oct. 28, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.

After unveiling updates made to the Belleville Transit Center in June as part of the “Transit Stop Transformation” project, the St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD) will celebrate additional upgrades to the highly utilized station on Friday, Oct. 28, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Transit riders and the community at large are invited to stop by the Belleville Transit Center, located at 718 Scheel Street in Belleville, starting at 7:30 a.m. Those in attendance can explore the newly revamped space, while enjoying complimentary beverages and sweet treats. Formal remarks from project partners will get underway at 9 a.m., followed by a ribbon cutting.
