SCCTD Announces Intermittent Construction and Trail Closures: Lebanon Road to Fairview Heights Station

The St. Clair County Transit District would like to inform trail users that construction activity will be taking place along the section of the MetroBikeLink Trail between Lebanon Road and the Fairview Heights MetroLink Station.

This work is scheduled to take place between 9/29/2025 – 10/03/2025. During this time, trail users may experience intermittent closures as crews complete the necessary work. Closures will be temporary and limited to one specific area as construction progresses, and the trail will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

Trail users are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel in this area. Signage and detour information will be posted on site when closures are in effect.

We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as these improvements are made to ensure the continued safety and quality of the trail system.
