St. Clair County Transit District is teaming up with Vandalia Bus Lines, Inc., to offer another safe, convenient and affordable way for St. Louis Cardinals fans in the Metro East to get to Busch Stadium. The Redbird Bus service is available for all Friday and Saturday home games. A round-trip ticket is available for people of all ages for $10 per rider. All transactions will be processed electronically. No cash will be accepted. Space is limited and service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Redbird Bus service boards along the first block of West A Street between North Illinois Street and North 1st Street in Belleville, where adjacent public parking is available. It drops passengers off at the corner of Clark Avenue and South Broadway in downtown St. Louis, just steps from Busch Stadium Gates 5 and 6. Buses leave Belleville 60 to 90 minutes before gametime, as each one nears capacity. After the game, riders can reboard the Redbird Bus on Clark Avenue between South Broadway and 4th Street. The first departure is made when the bus is full, with service continuing up to 45 minutes after the official end of the game. All buses are wheelchair lift equipped.
A complete list of service dates and departure times will be made available below.
