Public Hearing Set for September 10 on Bike Trail Project

The St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD) has a public hearing set for September 10 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am at the Fairview Heights REC Center located at 9950 Bunkum Road, Fairview Heights, IL. The purpose of the public hearing is to get comments on the SCCTD application for an Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP).  The application is to build a bike trail on Bunkum Road from Emma Lane to the Fairview Heights REC Center which would include building a bike trail and pedestrian bridge over Interstate I-64 for safer access to the Rec Center.
