The St. Clair County Transit District’s (SCCTD) summer-long program encouraging area residents to explore the SCCTD MetroBikeLink trails will end on Saturday, August 9. The GO TRAILing program has already seen more than 8,000 miles tracked on the 39+ mile long MetroBikeLink trail network. It’s not too late to participate, but the finish line is approaching soon.
The program is free to participate in and is open to all ages. To get involved, register online and bike, walk, run, skate, or even skip your way to earning prizes. As you track your mileage via SCCTD’s online platform you’ll unlock fun rewards as you hit key milestones. Prizes include t-shirts, water bottles, bike helmets and lights, transit passes and more. Those who track 100 miles or more will be entered into a drawing to win one of several grand prizes (Fitbit fitness tracker, Bluetooth earbuds, $100 gift card).
