New, Expanded Frequency of MetroBus in Cahokia Heights and Sauget

St. Clair County Transit District has launched new and increased transit service in Sauget and Cahokia Heights providing access to jobs, healthcare and education. New service includes:
- The new #3 Sauget – Water Street route provides direct, all-day service to Sauget Industrial Park from the 5th & MO Transit Center.
- #2 Cahokia Heights now offers service every 20 minutes and reaches Cahokia High School and district administration offices, Touchette Regional Hospital, Jerome Lane and Paris Street.
- # 8 Alta Sita now provides service every 20 minutes and reaches Schnucks, Aldi and other stores in Cahokia Heights.
These positive service enhancements and connections to MetroLink make public transit more accessible throughout the area.
