Metro Transit Announces Service Change Set for September 8

In partnership with the St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD), Metro Transit has announced the next quarterly service change is set for Monday, September 8. The service change will affect 14 MetroBus routes in Missouri and Illinois. MetroLink service will remain unaffected. Read on to review the expected changes.

Illinois:

#2 Cahokia Heights: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.

#5 Missouri Ave.-ML King: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.

Missouri:

#9 Oakville: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules for better connections at the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center.

#13 Union: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.

#21 Watson Road: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance and better connections at Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 Transit Center. Last trip of evening will serve St. Clare Hospital instead of St. Louis Community College-Meramec.

#30 Arsenal: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.

#33 Midland: Adjusting route to end north on Progress Parkway near Dorsett Road.

#49 Lindbergh: Adjusting trips serving Lighthouse for the Blind (LHB); #49 leaving North Hanley at 5:30 a.m. will arrive at LHB at 6:05 a.m.; #49 leaving South County Mall at 4:50 a.m. will arrive at LHB at 6:02 a.m., and leaving at 2:10 p.m. will arrive at 3:25 p.m. Bus leaving South County Mall at 2:50 p.m. will no longer serve LHB.

#58 Chesterfield Valley: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.

#74 Florissant: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules, extending last evening trips from Goodfellow Blvd. to Grand Blvd.

#90 Hampton: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance. The Federal Center will no longer be a time point for this route.

#91 Olive: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules to improve on-time performance.

#94 Page: Adjusting trips serving Lighthouse for the Blind (LHB); #94 leaving Civic Center at 5:25 a.m. will arrive at LHB at 6:19 a.m.; #94 leaving Dorsett at 2:42 p.m. will arrive at LHB at 3:18 p.m.

#100 Hazelwood: Adjusting weekday/weekend schedules, changing last trip from Tradeport to leave at 11:31 p.m. instead of 11:20 p.m.
