The elevator serving the westbound platform of the East Riverfront MetroLink Station will go out of service on Thursday, April 23, and will be unavailable for several months as part of an ongoing project to rehabilitate elevators at MetroLink stations in or near downtown St. Louis.
Metro recommends the following for passengers who require the westbound elevator to use the East Riverfront station:

This work is part of a multi-phase project to rehabilitate elevators in or near downtown St. Louis that have been part of the MetroLink system since it opened and are now more than 26 years old. Over the last two years, Metro Transit has completed rehabilitation of five elevators at the Union Station, Laclede’s Landing, Convention Center, 8th & Pine and East Riverfront MetroLink Stations. Rehabilitation work on the eastbound elevator at Convention Center Station and on the westbound elevator at 8th & Pine Station began in January 2020 and is currently in progress.
