Direct from the Managing Director: Your Voice Matters

Transit works best when it’s shaped by the people who use it—and those who may use it in the future. That’s why we’re inviting residents, riders, transit operators, employers and community stakeholders to help guide updates to our long‑range transit plan, Transit Vision 2026: Turning Vision into Action. Community input is critical to understanding mobility needs, identifying strengths and challenges, and informing potential service, route and schedule improvements.

Your voice matters. Please take a moment to complete the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SCCTDTransitVision2026Survey.

This public input, combined with data-driven analysis, will help evaluate how current services align with changing travel patterns, demographics and community priorities. It will also identify trends, highlight service gaps and assess opportunities to improve efficiency and connectivity to ensure equitable access to jobs, education, healthcare and everyday destinations. The plan will be released in late 2026 and help guide transit investments that reflect community needs now and in the future.
