Blue Note Express Service Now Available

St. Clair County Transit District is teaming up with Metro Transit to offer another safe, convenient and affordable way for St. Louis Blues fans in the Metro East to get to the Enterprise Center – the Blue Note Express. This new service will be available for select home games starting on Thursday, Oct. 9. A round-trip ticket is available to people of any age for $10 per rider. All transactions are processed electronically. Credit/debit cards are accepted at bus boarding location. No cash is accepted.

The Blue Note Express service loads along the first block of West A Street between N Illinois Street and N 1st Street and drops passengers off at Civic Center Transit Center, which is located right across Clark Avenue from the Enterprise Center. Buses leave Belleville 60 to 90 minutes before gametime, as each one nears capacity. The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Oct. 9 therefore buses will depart between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.  After the game, riders can reboard the Blue Note Express at the same location where they were dropped off within Civic Center Transit Center. The first departure is made when the bus is full, with service continuing up to 45 minutes after the official end of the game. All buses are wheelchair lift equipped. Service is provided on select Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Scroll to bottom of page to view parking map.

MetroLink is also a great option for St. Louis Blues home games. Passengers can board at any of the 11 MetroLink stations in Illinois and arrive at Enterprise Center via the Civic Center Station at 14th and Spruce Streets. Roundtrip cost on MetroLink is $5.00 per adult. Adult fares apply to persons 13 years of age and older. Childen 4 years of age and younger ride free. Reduced fairs are available to children aged 5 through 12, seniors over 65 years of age and disabled persons with proper identification.

“Traffic congestion, high parking fees and long-distance walks from the more affordable parking lots are commonly associated with getting to and from sporting events in downtown St. Louis – but, that doesn’t have to be the case,”commented St. Clair County Board Chairman Mark Kern. “The new Blue Note Express service offers a safe and hassle-free means for local residents to get to and from St. Louis Blues games.”
