Blue Note Express Service Available for Select St. Louis Blues Home Games Starting Oct. 8

St. Clair County Transit District is teaming up with Metro Transit to offer another safe, convenient and affordable way for St. Louis Blues fans in the Metro East to get to the Enterprise Center. The Blue Note Express service will be available for select home games starting on Thursday, Oct. 8. A round-trip ticket is available to people of any age for $10 per rider. All transactions are processed electronically. No cash is accepted.

The Blue Note Express service loads  at the St. Clair County Parking Garage at 100 South First Street in Belleville – where free, covered, camera-monitored public parking is available and drops passengers off at Civic Center Transit Center, which is located right across Clark Avenue from the Enterprise Center. Buses leave Belleville 60 to 75 minutes before gametime, as each one nears capacity. The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Oct. 8 therefore buses will depart between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. After the game, riders can reboard the Blue Note Express at the same location where they were dropped off within Civic Center Transit Center. The first departure is made when the bus is full, with service continuing up to 30 minutes after the official end of the game. All buses are wheelchair lift equipped. Service is provided on select Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. A complete listing of those dates and respective departure times are available here.

MetroLink is also a great option for St. Louis Blues home games. Passengers can board at any of the 11 MetroLink stations in Illinois and arrive at Enterprise Center via the Civic Center Station at 14th and Spruce Streets. Roundtrip cost on MetroLink is $5.00 per adult. Adult fares apply to people 13 years of age and older. Children 4 years of age and younger ride free. Reduced fairs are available to children aged 5 through 12, seniors over 65 years of age and disabled persons with proper identification.

“Getting to a Blues game shouldn’t mean sitting in traffic, paying premium parking rates or making a long walk to the arena,” said St. Clair County Board Chairman Mark Kern. “The Blue Note Express provides fans with a convenient, affordable and reliable way to enjoy the game and get home safely.”
