The St. Clair County Transit District (SCCTD) was created in 1981 under the Illinois Mass Transit District Act and covers the following 15 townships:

Belleville, Canteen, Caseyville, Centreville, East St. Louis, Engelmann, Lebanon, Mascoutah, O'Fallon, St. Clair, Shiloh Valley, Smithton, Stites, Stookey, and Sugarloaf.

Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act requires that “No person in the United States shall, on the

grounds of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”

 

Any person who believes that he/she has been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice on the basis of race, color or national origin by St. Clair County Transit District may file a complaint by completing and submitting to St. Clair County Transit District the Title VI Complaint form.

Getting your Senior / Circuit Breaker ID:

Senior ID's for residents of the St. Clair  County Transit District & Circuit Breaker ID's can be obtained at the following times and locations:

 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month - Belleville at the P.S.O.P. Building at 201 North Church Street, between the Hours of 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Ph: 618-234-4410

Senior ID's are available to residents of the St. Clair County Transit District over the age of 65, whereas Circuit Breaker ID eligibility is determined by the State.  For Further information regarding the Circuit Breaker Program, click the link:  (Click Here ~ Circuit Breaker).
